Safety First recognizes that:

A comprehensive approach to the problem is necessary, one which includes sound policy development, staff education and training, a customized testing program and an effective support system for the intervention and recovery of employees who need help.

Each employer has a unique personality, culture and philosophy, which requires a tailored program design. Whether that program must comply with strict SAMHSA-mandated standards or something more comprehensive, Safety First believes in an individualized approach.

Employers with multiple employee locations have special needs in the areas of program uniformity, centralized coordination and administration, quality assurance and overall cost efficiency.
